alisa r. wigley-delara
Ms. Wigley-DeLara was born in Albuquerque and graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in December of 2002. She started her practice in New Mexico beginning in 2003 practicing in the areas of civil defense and insurance defense litigation.
Ms. Wigley-DeLara brings two decades of experience to representing plaintiffs in all stages of litigation involving medical malpractice, personal injury, bad faith and insurance coverage disputes, professional liability, and civil rights. She has extensive experience in litigating civil rights claims, including claims against law enforcement officers and prison and jail officials, employees, and contractors.
Ms. Wigley-DeLara has been recognized by her peers receiving a Distinguished Peer Review Rating (2008 to present) from Martindale-Hubbell. She has also been recognized by Southwest Super Lawyers becoming a Rising Star from 2012 to 2015 and a Super Lawyer from 2019 to 2024.
